We use appropriate materials and tools that allow each participant to effectively explore and develop their artistic and emotional potential.

It can also help improve communication and social skills, and reduce stress and anxiety. We seek to activate the development of creative processes through specific techniques and activities, using the materials and tools of each of these disciplines; stimulate and enhance attentional processes, facilitate recovery and rehabilitation (in case of functional alteration) or maintain it (in case of functional deterioration), providing compensatory strategies that the person can use and apply in their daily activities. The Art Therapy Foundation provides assistance to children, adolescents, and adults. Our assistance service is carried out through an initial virtual interview. After this initial interview, the client is referred to our care centers nationwide, with professionals who have graduated from our institution.

Art Therapy Statistics in the United States

Art therapy has proven to be a promising treatment for people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety. Research indicates that cancer patients who participate in art therapy experience significant improvements in their mood. Outdoor art therapy sessions have also been linked to greater emotional expression compared to indoor sessions, highlighting the therapeutic value of nature.In 2014, there were approximately 11,700 art therapists in the United States, and since then, this field has experienced considerable growth. Various studies highlight the effectiveness of art therapy. For example, a study conducted with women with depressive symptoms revealed that 34% of participants experienced a 50% reduction in their symptoms after participating in therapeutic artistic interventions.
